Casson Mann's upcoming project, Musée national de la Marine, opens in Paris in November. Press Agence France covers this exciting redesign.

Press Agence France describes the Musée as "un haut lieu maritime contemporain". It says "it is a museum of art and history, science and technology, human adventures and popular traditions. At a time when maritime issues are more than ever at the heart of the news (economy, environment, geopolitics, science, etc.), the National Maritime Museum is reinventing itself as a museum of society open to its time, a place of exchanges and meetings, a forum around the major questions that run through the blue planet."

"The museum aims to become a place of wonder, curiosity and knowledge transmission, making the general public more familiar with the maritime dimension of our country, the source of so many vocations, and transmitting a taste for the sea by embodying the words of the men and women of the sea of yesterday, today and tomorrow."

"In autumn 2023, the doors will open onto a living, breathing place of knowledge and emotion, thanks to an innovative, multi-sensory itinerary. A place that will be an anchor and a meeting point for the latest news on the sea and sailors in Paris. A place designed for all audiences, of all ages, from neophytes to sea and marine enthusiasts. It's a participative, committed place that raises awareness of a universal message: "the sea is the future of mankind"."

"The visit begins with a life-size stylized bow (the part that forms the prow of a ship) into which visitors enter. Immersed in an immersive marine environment, the visitor learns about the sea via a film projected onto a large hemispherical screen overlooking the visitors and multiplying the points of view: under the sea, on the surface and in the air."

"The doors will open onto a living, breathing place of knowledge and emotion, thanks to an innovative, multi-sensory itinerary."
