Natural History Museum attracted a whopping 7.1 million visitors in 2025, making it the UK's most popular attraction.
In our redesign of the displays of Hintze Hall, Casson Mann decided to arrange the Hope the Whale in a diving pose. “Static poses are more commonly
seen in museums. We wanted something uniquely dynamic and engaging,” said Creative Director Roger Mann. “The grace and energy of a diving whale is always impressive, and no less within this extraordinary space. The whale immediately draws the eyes upwards where the balconies provide yet more visual interest. The arrangement creates a point of real engagement with visitors, as if the whale is diving down out of curiostiy to 'meet' people."
