It’s official, Showtown: the museum of fun and entertainment, designed by Casson Mann, will open its doors to the public in March 2024. The announcement comes alongside the appointment of Elizabeth Moss as the Chief Executive of the Blackpool Heritage and Museum Trust, the charity that will operate Showtown.

Showtown is definitely one of Casson Mann’s most exciting and fun-filled projects. When open, visitors will be able to explore themed galleries that celebrate the seaside, circus, magic, theatre, dance - not to mention Blackpool’s world-famous illuminations – along with the stars who have made the town famous.

Showtown has confirmed its opening date as 15 March 2024. It is set to attract over 200,000 visitors each year and we hope they will love Casson Mann’s original design, packed with playful interactives, fun and family-friendly activities, alongside unique, world-class objects.
